Runaway Princess #8 Aurora Crescendo
Since my artworks are hand-drawn, making changes after finishing is difficult. So before I begin, I ask ChatGPT for advice. Strangely enough, this illustration kept being chosen as its favorite, no matter how many doubts I had—so I decided to draw it and see if it was right. Originally, the princess’s legs were designed to be parallel, but the AI suggested crossing them for better balance. In Crimson Rising, it also helped align the ropes to make the figure’s center of gravity more realistic. I have to admit, it’s impressive how helpful AI can be for amateur artists. Its second favorite among my works is Solemn Exodus, and I actually agree with that choice. The AI told me it doesn’t feel, but it understands the criteria many art critics use. Still, when I asked it to generate images based on random titles in my style, none of them felt right—neither the composition nor the lighting. So I’m left wondering… does AI really have good taste?
