Our research focuses on applying the tools of synthetic chemistry and nanotechnology to address fundamental scientific challenges in energy and sustainable development. We are particularly interested in developing chemical strategies for designing ultrasmall nanoparticles and their assemblies to enhance catalytic, chiroptical, and photoluminescent properties. Our work also includes the development of nanocrystal frameworks, crystal-to-crystal structural transformations, and porous nanocrystals at various length scales.

Postdoctoral Research Associate Opening
The Li Research Group is seeking Postdoctoral Research Associates in the areas of electrocatalysis, photocatalysis, and hybrid functional materials.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field and research experience in the related field.
